Day 1: Arrival Kathmandu 1350m and Transfer to Hotel
On arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be received by our representative and you will be transferred to the hotel in Kathmandu. According to your arrival time, you may have the time to walk around or enjoy your free time on your own.
Day 2: City-Sightseeing Historical places as Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhnath, Pashupatinath:
On this day right after the breakfast, you will start your great full-day time to visit the historical world cultural heritage sites of Nepal. In the first half of the day, you will visit the holy Buddhist site on the hilltop of the western part of Kathmandu, where there will be many rhesus monkeys waiting for you. But be careful...! Sometimes they can be aggressive to destroy or grab your belongings. There you can see a large decorated massive Stupa along with many other temples. This hilltop is also a nice viewpoint for the whole Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayas seen on the northern part of Kathmandu. After you finish the sightseeing tour of Swayambhunath, you will proceed to the Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is also known as Kathmandu City. There is an old Palace built in the 17th century. Around the palace, there are many temples of Kali, Shiva, Vishnu, Kumari (the living Goddess), Krishna, Ganesha and many more. They are made of bricks and Sal wood. After the visit, you can have free time for lunch break.
On the second half, you will be taken to the holiest Hindu Temple of the World, called Pashupatinath known as the master of the animal world. The big temple with golden roof and silver-plated wall on the ground floor is only accessible for the Hindus. There are many other temples, mainly dedicated to Lord Shiva and also some others around the big temple premises. The most interesting thing for the foreigners is the open cremating site at bank of the holy Bagmati River, where mostly the Hindu dead bodies are brought.
Finally, you have the chance to visit the biggest Stupa of Nepal, named Bodhnath in the northern part of Kathmandu, which was constructed in the 5th Century AD. Thousands of Tibetan Buddhist refugees live around the stupa and in the morning and especially in the evening they come to circumambulate and pay homage to the Lord Buddha. They also light the butter lamps around the stupa. The atmosphere is really gorgeous.
Day 3: Drive / Flight to Pokhara 850m and transfer to the Hotel / Boating in the Phewa Lake
According to your preference to drive or fly to Pokhara, the transfer will be organized. If you want to fly, it takes 25 minutes from Kathmandu. During good weather you may see the nice mountain ranges on the right-hand side. The rest of the day you can enjoy walking along the lake and market or as you prefer to spend. According to your arrival, you can enjoy the boat ride in the Fewa Lake.
If you prefer driving from Kathmandu, it may take around 7 hours. Many traditional typed villages and various types of landscapes you can observe during the whole drive up to Pokhara. Finally, you reach Pokhara and you can enjoy your free late afternoon.
Day 4: Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Ulleri 1950m (2-2.5 hours of drive and 5 to 6 hrs. of walk)
Early morning right after the breakfast, you start the drive to Nayapul about 45km from Pokhara. It takes about 2 to 2.5 hours drive. Then the trek starts from Nayapul 1100m via Birethati 1050m,, Sudame, Hile, Tikhedhunga 1450m and finally about two hours of steep uphill steps to Ulleri 1950m. On the way, you can see the mixture of old and new village-style houses and abundant of terraces and paddy fields.
Day 5: Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani 2860m (5 to 6 hrs.)
This day you continue your trail gradually uphill towards Ghorepani via Banthati through the dense rhododendron forest. During the time of spring, you are lucky to see the abundance of flowers, mostly red and little bit lighter colors as the altitude grows. Finally, you reach Ghorepani touristic village amid the rhododendron forest. According to the time of arrival and weather condition, you can visit Punhill for sunset view and glowing Himalayas.
The main highlight of this trek is Ghorepani village and Punhill 3210m, the best viewpoint for the breathtaking mountains like the complete range of Dhaulagiri, Tukche Peak, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and on the right-hand horizon Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, Lamjung Himal and during clear weather even the range of Manaslu range. As you view the mountains, you are compelled to forget the hardship of the steep uphill of the whole way from Tikhedhunga to Punhill.
Day 6: Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani 2700m (5-6 hrs. walk)
About one hour before the sunrise, you start walking with your headlamps or torch lights gradually step-up in the morning twilight to Punhill, the best viewpoint of the trail. It may take about 45 minutes to 1 hour from Ghorepani. You will see the aforesaid long mountain ranges from Dhaulagiri to Manaslu as the weather permits. After taking photographs and the grand view, you will descend about 30 to 40 minutes to Ghorepani for the breakfast. Beforehand, you can pack your luggage.
After your breakfast, you will walk again upwards to the average heights of Punhill up to Deorali Pass and descend down gradually through the rhododendron and mixed forest to Tadapani again amidst the beautiful rhododendron and pine forest. Sometimes you can see the Longoor Monkeys around the place.
Day 7: Tadapani to Jhinu Danda and visit hot spring (5 to 6 hrs.)
You start this morning little forward towards Ghandruk, leave the classical trail and turn to the left slope towards Kimrong Danda. In about 2.5 hours from Tadapani, you reach a hilltop named Little Paradise with a house having organic farming around and small tea garden. After lunch in this unique place, you descend steep down to Jhinu Danda. After checking-in the lodge, you can have free time to visit the hot spring ponds at the bank of Modi Khola little downwards of the settlement.
Day 8: Trek from Jhinu Danda to Pothana 1900m (6 to 7 hrs.)
Early morning after the breakfast, you have to start today along Modikhola downwards. After you cross a suspension bridge, you get into the eastern bank of the river going gradually upwards to a beautiful village called Landruk 1650m. After this village, you continue your walk via Tolka to Pothana. The way today is not so technically difficult but longer in distance.
Day 9: Trek from Pothana to Phedi 1100m (3 hrs. walk) and Drive back to Pokhara (45 minutes)
This is the final day of your beautiful trek. You walk slope down to Dhampus 1600m and then steep steps down to Phedi, where your vehicle will be waiting for you. You will be brought to the hotel and enjoy your free time in Pokhara.
Day 10: Sightseeing in the Pokhara City
This day, you have to enjoy Sightseeing tour in Pokhara. You will visit old market and Bindabasini temple, Davi’s Fall, Tibetan Refugee camp little downwards of the Davi’s Fall and boating in the Fewa Lake. Late afternoon, we will have the free time to walk around along the Fewa Lake and market of Pokhara.
Day 11: Drive to Chitwan (4 to 5 hours)
This day after your breakfast, you pack your luggage and drive to Chitwan Nationalpark. According to the rush of vehicle and condition of the road, it may take around 4 to 5 hours. On arrival, you will have your lunch first and you will be informed about your program. After you get your room, you will be taken for a program. According to the flow of guests, the jungle safari lodge plans your whole program to make your program as much as fruitful and enjoyable.
Day 12: Full day Jungle activities in Chitwan about 150m
Abiding by the plan, you will be informed about the full day program of today, canoeing, elephant safari, jeep safari or whatever according to the booked or organized program.
Day 13: Drive / Fly back to Kathmandu
According to your organized program, you will be transferred to Kathmandu from Chitwan Nationalpark either by surface or by air.
Day 14: Departure to your final Destination
As your flight program, the final departure will be organized from the hotel in Kathmandu. The reporting time for passengers is generally given before 3 hours. We hope, you dear valued guests, you have enjoyed the whole trip with us in Nepal.
