Welcome to our site

Hello and Namaste!  Welcome to Nepalese Mountain Dreams and Journeys, Pvt., Ltd.! We are a prefessional trekking  company that offers trekking guide services and tours throughout Nepal. In addition to trekking, we can also help organize nature and safari tours, as well as cultural and religious holidays in the Kathmandu Valley area and greater Nepal. Although we are a new company, our staff are professional and highly qualified, with many years of experience. Our guides have travelled throughout Nepal not only working in the more popular trekking regions such as the Everest region, Annapurna, and Langtang, but have also travelled to the most remote corners of the Himalayas. We run an honest, safe, and reliable service for everyone from trekkers to people preparing for more serious mountain expeditions. Those who have been to Nepal before will know that a trek in Nepal makes for some of the most exciting and breathtaking trekking in the world! We would be very pleased to accompany you on this once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Trekking in Nepal has captured the imaginations of mountaineers and explorers for more than 60 years. Over that time, the lifestyle and habits of the inhabitants of the mountain regions has changed very little. Mountain village people offer hospitality and a warm welcome to trekkers and mountaineers alike. But there is a lot more to Nepal than just the mountains. It is very rich in natural resources, many different coexisting cultures, a vibrant religious life, wildlife reserves, and a generally well-developed tourism infrastructure. It has a very rich and colourful heritage and a cultural fabric unlike any other in the world. Because of this background, most visitors find that the Nepali people are exceptionally friendly, generous, and helpful. It is often from the people that trekkers take their fondest memories. It is not complicated or expensive to trek in Nepal. One of the biggest parts of your trekking experience that may well live on with you after you have returned home will be your Nepali guide, who will care for you each step of the way.

A trekking day has its own natural rhythm. Most people are up early to watch the sun rise over the mountains with a hot cup of tea or coffee. After breakfast and after packing your day pack, it is time to set off. The day splits into two. Usually, you will walk for around three hours in the morning before taking lunch, followed by a further two to three hours in the afternoon. On the more popular trails, there are places on the trek to take tea breaks. In more remote areas, where it is necessary to camp, a morning and afternoon tea is fixed. All of your gear is carried for you by our staff. Your only obligation will be to carry a light day pack and personal items you may need on the way. On reaching your lodge or camp site it is time to relax. Perhaps post a few photos or fill in your diary before an evening meal. In the mountains, bedtime usually comes early.

Nepalese Mountain offers two types of trekking: 1) Tea House trek, or 2) Tent treks.

On the more popular trails, you can stay at lodges along the way. The food and lodging is provided by the lodge. On full camping treks, just about everything is provided. This includes a dining tent, most or all of the food needed for the trek, (depending on trekking area), tents, matresses, chairs, tables, a latrine, etc. All treks come with three meals a day.
